Well, Christmas is behind us. Am I not the only one who is wondering how they pulled it off, and also (a little bit) happy it’s over? I feel awful saying that, but let’s be real, this year was completely unprecedented. I am usually a Christmas freak! Yes, I absolutely love the Holiday for many reasons; spending time with family, the hustle and bustle, seeing people rise to the occasion to help others, gifting, festive attire, my children’s excitement, and the list goes on. I’m chalking it up to the fact that it was not the Christmas anyone imagined last year at this time, most of us dug deep to make the most of it. We should all be giving ourselves a huge pat on the back for getting through this one and still find that joy. Truly. We are amazing, all of us.
Part of keeping that joy alive for me is fashion--it's one of my top three F's: family, faith, fashion. Although we spent the majority of this year staying home (or close to it), I still found happiness in adding some fab pieces to my wardrobe. There is a mix of seasonal, classic and trendy here, which is typical for me. As a child of the 80's, I could not resist some of the trends that came back around this past year. Mostly everything can still be found in stores, and some even on post-holiday sale!
This is my new "go to" for cold days. I love the oversized look and how cozy it is. Truly goes great with ANYthing.
I wore this for our family Christmas pics and it's so fun and versatile. You can dress it up with a blouse and leather (or faux fur) cropped jacket + booties, or down with a tee and combat boots.

These boots are truly amazing and very on trend for 2021. I chose the pearl detail because it added some softness, which was perfect for me. Combat boots can be found just about anywhere right now with lots of detail options to fit your style. Pair with skirts, dresses, skinny or cropped flare jeans, leggings or shorts.
Spartina Stretch Bracelets: great for stacking! (find at Clearly Yours or online)
Scotch and Soda Leopard Skirt
I wore this on Christmas Eve with a black cropped turtle neck (see pic). It's comfortable and fun to wear. Similar to the Ann Taylor Belted Skirt, you can dress up or down. The best part is that the pattern is classic and will never go out of style, so I can keep in my wardrobe indefinitely.

Trina Turk Sunglass dress: (find online or at Marcus Blaque Boutique)
This dress was my favorite this past summer, and I plan to wear it for the next few to come! It's oversized, comfortable and can be paired with flip flops, slides, sandals or sneakers.
Stumbled upon this brand in a lingerie store in Manchester, VT (https://www.lapechelingerie.com) Since then, I've been obsessed. They are the most comfortable lounge/pjshorts I own and great for days around the house. They are flattering, buttery soft and sit perfect on the waist.
Great addition to any winter wardrobe. Can be styled so many ways to give off that festive/cozy, winter vibe. I love the slit just off to the side and the high waist.

A Chritsmas gift from my husband. Beautiful accessory and classic staple to add to any outfit.

These take me straight back to my childhood. The high button fly waist + distressed look is key, also they are super soft and light weight. Great for Spring, Summer and Fall.
This was a purchase I made prior to the pandemic, one I considered for a while. If you choose to invest in a Gucci belt, make sure you look through all the options to fit your wardrobe best. The thin, nude style of this one was perfect for me and I wear often.
A. Golde Dee Super High Rise Short (find at Circles or online)
Perfect add to any warm weather wardrobe. I lived in these this past summer and cannot wait to take them out again next year.
Fun winter outerwear piece! I love this not only because it's warm and soft, but it has a snap closure so you don't mess with your hair/makeup. Great for sports or just out and about.
